Setup guide

Set up GTAIPTV on any device in about 5 minutes

Before you start

After you order, we send you one email with your login details. Keep it open on your phone. You will copy from it.

  • M3U link

    One long link. IBO Player Pro uses this one. You paste it once on the IBO website.

  • Username, Password and Server URL

    Three short lines. This is the “Xtream” login. Most other apps ask for these three.

  • Portal URL

    For a MAG box only. You type it in the box settings.

Firestick and Fire TV Cube

On a Firestick you install the app with a free helper app called Downloader. It takes three short steps, then you add your playlist.

  1. Step 1

    Install Downloader

    On the Firestick home screen, open Find (the magnifier) and search for Downloader. Pick the orange Downloader app and press Get or Download. It is free, from the Amazon Appstore.

  2. Step 2

    Allow Downloader to install apps

    Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options → Install unknown apps. Find Downloader and turn it ON.

    Tip: No “Developer options”? Go to Settings → My Fire TV → About. Click your device name (for example “Fire TV Stick 4K”) 7 times in a row. Go back one screen. Developer options is there now.

  3. Step 3

    Install IBO Player Pro with code 4738580

    Open Downloader. If it asks for access, press Allow. Click the box at the top, type 4738580 and press Go. Wait for the download, press Install, then press Open.

    Tip: It says “App not installed”, or stops half-way? Your Firestick is probably full. Remove apps you do not use (Settings → Applications → Manage installed applications), then try again. Watch how to free up space.

  4. Step 4

    Open the app and write down two codes

    Open IBO Player Pro. The first screen shows a MAC address and a Device Key. Write both down, or take a photo with your phone.

  5. Step 5

    Add your playlist on the IBO website

    On your phone or computer, open iboplayer.pro/manage-playlists. If it does not open, use iboproapp.com/manage-playlists (same account). Sign in with the MAC address and Device Key. Press Add playlist. Name it GTAIPTV.ca, paste your M3U link and press Save.

    Tip: Paste the long M3U link, not the username and password. This is the most common mistake.

  6. Step 6

    Go back to the app and press Reload

    On the TV or device, press Reload in IBO Player Pro (or close and open the app). Your channels load in about a minute. That’s it.

Other choice: our free 8K player

For GTAIPTV clients only. It costs nothing, and you sign in with your Username, Password and Server URL (no website step).

Its Downloader code is not on this page. You find it in My Account, after you sign in.

  1. Do steps 1 and 2 above (Downloader, and allow it).
  2. In Downloader, type the 8K player code from My Account and press Go, then Install and Open.
  3. Type your Username, Password and Server URL exactly as in your email, and sign in.

Samsung and LG smart TV

On a Samsung or LG TV the app comes from the TV’s own app store. No extra tools are needed.

  1. Step 1

    Install IBO Player Pro from the TV store

    Samsung: press Home, open Apps, use the magnifier and search IBO Player Pro, then Install. LG: press Home, open the LG Content Store (Apps), search IBO Player Pro, then Install.

    Tip: Can’t find it? Check the TV is connected to the internet and the TV software is up to date (Settings → Support → Software update).

  2. Step 2

    Open the app and write down two codes

    Open IBO Player Pro. The first screen shows a MAC address and a Device Key. Write both down, or take a photo with your phone.

  3. Step 3

    Add your playlist on the IBO website

Android phone, Android TV box and Google TV

On Android the app comes straight from Google Play.

  1. Step 1

    Install IBO Player Pro from Google Play

    Open Google Play (on Google TV: the Apps tab, then Search for apps). Search IBO Player Pro and press Install.

For GTAIPTV clients only, free. You sign in with your Username, Password and Server URL.

Install the free Downloader app from Google Play, then type the 8K player code you find in My Account. If Android asks, allow Downloader to install apps.

iPhone and iPad

On Apple phones and tablets the same app is called IBO Pro Player. It works the same way.

  1. Step 1

    Open the App Store and search IBO Pro Player, or use this link: IBO Pro Player on the App Store. Press Get.

Other choice: UHF

UHF is a clean player for iPhone, iPad and Apple TV (getuhf.com). It uses the three-line Xtream login, not the M3U link.

  1. Install UHF from the App Store and open it.
  2. Tap Create a playlist, then choose Xtream.
  3. Type your Server URL, Username and Password exactly as in your email, and save.

Apple TV

On Apple TV you use IBO Pro Player from the Apple TV App Store.

  1. Step 1

    Install IBO Pro Player on the Apple TV

    Open the App Store on the Apple TV. Go to Search, type IBO Pro Player and press Get.

  2. Step 2

    Open the app and write down two codes

    Open IBO Player Pro. The first screen shows a MAC address and a Device Key. Write both down, or take a photo with your phone.

UHF also runs on Apple TV (getuhf.com). Choose Create a playlist → Xtream, then type your Server URL, Username and Password.

Windows PC

On a computer you install IBO Player Pro like any other program.

  1. Step 1

    Install IBO Player Pro for Windows

    Go to iboplayer.pro and download the Windows version, then open the file to install it. You can also search IBO Player Pro in the Microsoft Store.

  2. Step 2

    Open the app and write down two codes

    Open IBO Player Pro. The first screen shows a MAC address and a Device Key. Write both down, or take a photo with your phone.

  3. Step 3

    Add your playlist on the IBO website

    On your phone or computer, open iboplayer.pro/manage-playlists. If it does not open, use iboproapp.com/manage-playlists (same account). Sign in with the MAC address and Device Key. Press Add playlist. Name it GTAIPTV.ca, paste your M3U link and press Save.

MAG box

A MAG box has no app to install. You type one address, the Portal URL, in the box settings.

A MAG box needs the MAG box plan. When you order it, you give us the box’s MAC address. It is on the sticker under the box and starts with 00:1A:79.

  1. Step 1

    Open the portal settings

    On the MAG home screen open Settings, then System settings → Servers → Portals.

  2. Step 2

    Type your Portal URL

    In Portal 1 name type GTAIPTV. In Portal 1 URL type the Portal URL from your email or My Account, exactly. It starts with http:// (not https).

  3. Step 3

    Save and restart

    Press Save (or OK). Go back and restart the box: Settings → Reboot, or unplug it for 10 seconds. The channels load after the restart.

    Tip: Blank screen, or “authorization failed”? Check the Portal URL letter by letter. It must be http, not https. Then restart the box again.

Something not working?

Tap a problem to open the fix. Most take under a minute.

“Invalid login” or “wrong username or password”
  • Check the Server URL starts with http://, not https://.
  • Type every letter exactly. Watch for capital letters, and a space at the end.
  • In IBO Player Pro you do not type a username. Paste the M3U link on the IBO website (step “Add your playlist”).
  • Use your latest details. If you renewed or changed plan, check My Account.
  • More checks: why the service is not working.
Channels buffer or freeze
  • Restart your internet router first. Unplug it for 30 seconds, then plug it back in. This fixes most cases.
  • Use 5 GHz Wi-Fi or a network cable, not 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.
  • You need about 15 Mbps for HD and 25 Mbps for 4K.
  • Update the app, then close it fully and open it again.

It works without a VPN, but not with the VPN
The app asks me to pay
  • That is the app’s own licence, not your GTAIPTV plan. Your plan is already paid.
  • IBO Player Pro is free for 7 days, then about 10 USD once, for life, paid to the app maker.
  • Want no app fee? Clients can use our free 8K player. Its code is in My Account.
The app will not install on my Firestick
The TV guide is empty
  • Copy the EPG link from My Account and paste it in the app settings, in the EPG (TV guide) field.
  • Then reload the app. Guide data can take a few minutes the first time.

It stops when two people watch
  • One connection means one screen playing at a time. Two screens at once need two connections.
  • You can install the app on as many devices as you like. Only watching at the same time counts.

Quick questions

Which app should I use?

IBO Player Pro on almost every device (on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV it is called IBO Pro Player). A MAG box uses its built-in portal, so it needs no app.

Do I have to pay for the app?

IBO Player Pro is free for 7 days, then about 10 USD once, for life, paid to the app maker. Our own 8K player is free for GTAIPTV clients.

Where are my login details?

In the email we send after you order, and in My Account at account.gtaiptv.ca at any time.

Can I install it on more than one device?

Yes, on as many devices as you like. Your plan sets how many screens can play at the same time.

Do I need a VPN?

No. If you choose to use one, use the VPN address from My Account as your server, or it may not connect.

Can you set it up for me?

Yes. Send us the MAC address and Device Key from IBO Player Pro by live chat or Telegram. We add the playlist, and you press Reload.
